| Tarzana Pool Heater Repair Tips
The evolution of the swimming pool and spa furnace has been accelerated over the past ten years due to more efficient designs that have led to cleaner burning fuel and less noxious off-gasing into the environment. The relatively simple millivolt heaters of the past are no longer even available in Southern California due to a mandate by the Air Quality Management board. In Tarzana, pool heater repair includes sometimes replacing the older systems with the newer LoNox models - these no longer have a free-standing pilot, but rather an electronic ignition at the time you turn on the heating unit. The older systems would emit high levels of nitrous oxide into the atmosphere, and this is reduced by the newer technological advances of LoNox heaters. We at Spectrum repair and install all makes and models, but we have our favorites. Contact us for a consultation regarding your specific needs, as we are happy to share our knowledge and do our best to outfit your pool or spa with a properly sized furnace - or even repair the one you have if cost effective. We always come out to the equipment pad with the intent to repair, but if we see a rusted burner shelf or cabin, it becomes a safety hazard and we'll recommend installation of a new system. Every pool is a case by case basis, and we like to give our clients options. Call our office to set up an appointment today.
