| Studio City Salt Pool Chlorinator Tips
Even with a new system installed, testing of your water is still a necessary procedure for proper care of your pool or spa. Recommended levels of chlorine remains the same at 1.0 to 3.0 ppm, or higher if bather load and air temperature increase. Total Alkalinity is the stabilizer for pH values, so be sure to maintain somewhere in the range of 60-80ppm. pH should read 7.4 to 7.8, but in salt systems, it will tend to creep up to 8.0, so more muriatic acid will be needed to keep within range. Whether you live in Beverly Hills or Studio City, salt pool systems are now ubiquitous, and the aware service technician must bring more skills to your backyard during weekly care. We at Spectrum are proud of our committment to education and training - consider us when you would like to install a salt system, as we can be a great resource, and our installation team is extremely competent.
