| La Crescenta Pool Cleaning Tips
When spotting yellow, green or dark discolorations in your swimming pool or spa, consider the types of algae that may be forming. Mineral stains can have a similar cast, so first take a brush - wire or nylon - and scrub the area to see if any of the color goes away. If it is algae, it will be removed and sluffed off into the water. This does not eradicate it however. The presence of algae means that some aspect of water balance has... gotten out of balance. This can happen even when regular service is provided. If a hot week ensues, the filter gets taxed with suntan lotion, or an unusually high bather load enters the water - these events can all allow spores to proliferate. Whether you live in Calabasas, Porter Ranch, or La Crescenta, pool cleaning may require an extra effort to restore the water back to health and clarity. Algaecides may be needed, or a super chlorine shock with filiter clean can do the job. Simply give us a call and we will evaluate the system and provide an estimate to solve the issue. We have many restorations under our belt, so we'll sure to be of help - looking forward to hearing from you soon.
