| Encino Pool Heater Repair Tips
Since ambient air and ground temperature make our water cool to swim in, especially in the off-season, most Valley area poolowners have heating systems to warm them up when needed. However, after time or without the proper periodic cleaning, pool heaters can fail to ignite, and a repair call will be necessary. Before you do that though, we recommend that you insure that your filter is clean as it can keep the system from firing if the grids are too impacted with dirt. Filter pressure should be no more than 10psi over clean readings. You pressure gauge should be marked with an indelible marker as a point of reference. If too dirty - sometimes 15psi over clean reading, backwash or disassemble and recharge with diatomaceous earth. Viola, you may find your furnace fires right up, and you've just saved yourself the cost of a service call. We do not advise that you try to service the heater yourself though, as this should be handled only by a professional.
